| This illuminated parchment leaf has thirty six lines of Scripture text that are ruled in pale brown ink, written in black ink in a handsome gothic bookhand, with eighteen decorated initials in alternating blue and red ink and one two line decorated initial with ornate red and blue penwork flourishes. The vellum leaf is in good condition with generous margins. There is also some staining and wrinkling with modern pencil foliation. |
